The Path to Salvation
We believe in the Trinity which is One God and individual persons at the same time – God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
God is our Father, who created the earth through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and God’s only Son was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the Virgin Mary.
Jesus Christ began to preach, teach, and heal at the age of 30. His message was for people to believe that He was the Messiah, the Son of God. We are to recognize our sin, repent and confess our sin and ask Jesus to live in our hearts - teaching us to live like Him.
Since Jesus is now living in heaven, the Holy Spirit lives in your spirit when you accept Him. The Holy Spirit speaks to you through the Bible – the Scriptures are the Words of God directly meant for you. You may also understand that the Holy Spirit speaks to you through other people; speaks directly into your spirit through different ways, like nudging in your heart and thoughts in your mind. 2 Timothy 3:16
Every person who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior is a child of God and is adopted into the family of God.
For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Jesus commanded that His followers must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:37-39
Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them. John 14:21
Jesus was ridiculed by the Pharisees and Sadducees throughout His ministry. Jesus never sinned but He willingly accepted our sins within His spirit and was crucified on the cross on Good Friday because of our sins by Pontius Pilate. Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he has raised to life in the Spirit. 1 Peter 3:18
He was buried in a new unused tomb and rose from hell and the grave early Easter morning. Forty days later, Jesus ascended up to heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. Ten days later the disciples and followers of Jesus were baptized by the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem.
Since Jesus is now living in heaven, the Holy Spirit lives in your spirit when you accepted Him. You may understand that the Holy Spirit speaks to you through other people; speaks directly into your spirit through many different ways, nudging in your heart; thoughts in your mind, nudging in your heart, your will, and your emotions. The Holy Spirit speaks to you through the Bible – the Scriptures are the Words of God directly to you.
The purpose of God’s children is to love your neighbors, share the Good News of Jesus and serve God in any way He asks you.
God will send Jesus to return to earth on an unknown future date to take all of his followers to heaven to live in the presence of God forever.
I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13
