Read Together

Your spouse or your children would ask ‘why aren’t you talking with me today?’ if you did not have any conversation with them.
God asks the same question. He wants to hear from you; He wants to know that you are hearing Him through His Word.
For that reason, it is necessary to read the Bible each day in order to continue growing closer in your relationship with God. God wants to know that you care for Him, so that He can show you how much He loves you.

Daily devotion

                        The Word

Isaiah 59:20-21

“The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem,” says the Lord, “to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins. And this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the Lord have spoken!  NLT

A Thought

Isaiah is confirming that Jesus will come some time in the future — for him — in the past for us!
God did not forget and has performed that promise two thousand years ago.
GOD DOES NOT CHANGE! Whenever He says it, you can guarantee it will happen.
The Spirit will not leave you, neither will these words I have given you.
That includes what He tells you in your heart. IT WILL HAPPEN!
So, let’s cut out a lot of misery and trouble for ourselves. Let’s believe what He says is true and it WILL happen.
Let’s ask what we can do for Him? He has already prepared the hard part and left the part that He KNOWS you can handle. He’ll even help you!
Your children will also remember and tell what He is telling and showing you.
This is a special legacy you will be leaving to your children.
