Read Together

Your spouse or your children would ask ‘why aren’t you talking with me today?’ if you did not have any conversation with them.
God asks the same question. He wants to hear from you; He wants to know that you are hearing Him through His Word.
For that reason, it is necessary to read the Bible each day in order to continue growing closer in your relationship with God. God wants to know that you care for Him, so that He can show you how much He loves you.

Daily devotion

                                    The Word

John 4:9b-14

“Why are you asking for a drink?” Jesus replied, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who I am, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.”  “But sir, you don’t have a rope or a bucket,” she said, “and this is a very deep well. Where would you get this living water? And besides, are you greater than our ancestor Jacob who gave us this well? How can you offer better water than he and his sons and his cattle enjoyed? Jesus replied, “People soon become thirsty again after drinking this water. But water I give them takes away thirst altogether. It becomes a perpetual spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

                                    A Thought

One of God’s gifts to us is His Word. Another gift is the Holy Spirit. As you read His Word, the Holy Spirit will give you insight and a new understanding will flow into your heart. Appreciate the knowledge He gave you – It will stay with you and become that perpetual spring flowing within you.
